Default 2010 xD Factory Repair Manual?

Just wondering if anyone knows about how to get hold of one of these - for download, ideally.

The reason I ask, is that I'm interested in instructions for removing panels - door, headliner, and so forth - for installing noise control stuff. So if someone has a good source for that, that'd be cool too

Not a manual but a previous post about removing the dash/console posts. Also there is a video on youtube about replacing the cabin filter.

Thanks, rdrr! That'll come in handy if I decide to put a sub in. Thought I'd try and quiet down the cabin a bit first.

What are you going to use to quiet the cabin down with?

Leaning toward Second Skin Damplifier for starters.

Good choice. You will find that 95% of your interior is just snapped on. There are 2 screws for the doors, a couple for the shifter console and 4 bolts on each seat. I haven't taken the back seats out yet but I can't imagine they would be any more difficult. It is incredibly simple to remove parts from the interior of your car.

the hardest part of the headliner is the bolt that holds the seatbelt "clip" in place on the roof. good luck getting past that

Oh I forgot about the headliner. I didn't mess with mine with I put my stereo in. This summer I will be adding some Second Skin this summer to try and quiet my cabin. It is really noisy in there, especially on the interstate.

Thanks, folks! I did notice a little button on the front door - didn't know if it was just a cover for something else or what. But I didn't play with it - I have a knack for causing small bits of destruction while blindly investigating stuff like this.
