Default How to remove back seat

I did a search and a search of the repair manual and am not having any luck.
Can you take the bottom of the rear seat out to get to stuff that fell down under there??
I call the back seat, the seat of no return, cause we've lost a lot of stuff under there over the years.

I've tried just folding the back down and forward, but still can't get what I'm looking for.

Thanks!

just pull up hard and the bottom pops up and out.. you will see the rest of the bolts for the back.

There are three or four plastic covers that are located towards the bottom of the seat on and angle at the floor, pop those covers up and they will reveal some bolts. once you get those out lift the seats and there will be a couple more bolts. then once all that's done you have even more bolts behind the seats on the seat rails. I can't remember how many total but if your just trying to get things dropped then you only need to remove the ones under the plastic covers. by the way they aren't normal hex heads. they are like the Torx. I would show you pics but I'm a couple thousand miles from my car right now. lol hope that helped you out!

Haha- I wish it just pops up and out. I had an old Mustang that did that.

I found the bolts under the covers, but I decided against it-not sure if we have the correct tool.
I just folded the seat slightly forward and from behind and in front, felt around for the stuff that was under there.

I found what I was looking for - and a few other things.

Thanks for your help

If you are careful you can use an 8MM deep socket.

If you want the exact size it's actually 8mm Torx socket to remove the seats.
