Default How to Remove Window switch bezel/cover

I have a 2008 xD.

I've read that to remove the window switch switch bezel/cover I need to slide a screwdriver under the front of the bezel in order to release the clip.

I don't seem to be doing that correctly, though, because the bezel won't release.

I've been looking for a photo or drawing of the underside of the bezel so that I can better aim the screwdriver, but I haven't found such a photo/drawing so far.

If anyone can provide a URL to such a drawing or Vid, I would be most grateful.

Thanks in advance for any help.

99-03 Lexus Rx300 Driver's Door Panel & Window Switch Removal YouTube video
Go to 3:00

The Official Toyota Parts List show only a small drawing of the part w/o the underside. It appears there is a release clip towards the forward area.

There are no 2008 xD Switch Cover Removal video unless you want to Create your own. Refer to the Lexus Rx300 video as a hint/tip.

It is Highly Recommended that you Do Not use a screwdriver as a pry tool (common rookie mistake). It will scratch the surfaces and may also result
in breaking your tabs therefore compounding your problems.

Do as the Pros. Get a Professional Set, which are inexpensive similar to these:
Amazon Amazon

Hope this helps.
