Hey guys,

My name is John and I just recently got my first car, an 08 xD.

Obviously I bought the car used, and it did not come with the iPod connector cable.

I know that I can get one from the dealership or from TRDsparks but before I buy one I was trying to get confirmation on which models it would work with.

I have an iPod touch 3rd gen and this is the one I would ideally like to use, however I also have an old iPod video that I could dig out if need be.

Should work with it, and the dealer should provide you with one. I'd go back and ask and make a spectacle of it. Might get you some other free stuff too.... or might get you thrown out. LOL

 

i didnt get one either lol. but i got one from ebay for like 20$ so i wasnt too worried about it. i didnt even get floor mats >_>

 

I also bought my xD used and it didn't come with one and they wouldn't give me one either. I've just been using an aux cable until I can find one cheap on ebay.

 

Might not charge it... But it will play and the head unit will control it. Don't remember when apple changed the charging pin, but my iPod video will charge from it, but my iPhone 4 and iPad 1 will not.

My iPhone and iPad both charge on the new iPod connector on my wife's honda civic. Her stereo is newer, though.
