What do you guys suggest I modify on a Scion xD-Barcelona Red? I plan on tinting the windows and getting new rims pretty soon. Please feel free to add any suggestions to what kind of rims and other mods.

For looks, go with just some simple things. Tint, maybe eyelids when they come out, new tails/overlays for the tails, wheels that are black since black and red go well together. Uh...for power, go for intake and exhaust and headers for a good amount of power whenever someone releases these products for the xD (are they even out yet). Hope that helps!

As far as I've seen with other xD owners, us normal people can basically tint, get new rims/tires, drop, and then possibly the 5axis kit. Those of us with more skill with electrical and whatnot are doing sound systems and doing some other.. stuff.

Haven't heard or seen too many xDs with any intake stuff or anything in the engine compartment.

I wish there was more stuff for the xD already

as far as engine stuff goes. Really you aren't gaining much of anything. Realistically engine mods are not significant enough for the money, Unless you consider something huge like boost/motor swap. I think if you drop it put some wheels on it. You'll be fine. But thats just me. I highly doubt this car is meant to go fast in any way.

I actually just picked up Xd about a week ago, after having driven an Xb1 for a year, and I have to say I have some faith in it. I think if done right, 13 and 14 second daily driver Xd's are going to end up pretty easy to build.

For the outside- Full tint, blacked out housings for headlights and tails (inside, oven method), black wheels with red pinstripes, 2+ inch Tanabe drop, blacked out bumper between the front intakes, dual Magnaflow exhaust... at least that's what I have planned if I get one.

red and black has been so overdone...i got the tint, any other ideas that aren't red/black?

i was thinking red and cream, but that would have to be done carefully so that it doesn't look like a candy cane.

Actually red&cream (really off white color of course) would look so cool! I guess it sucks though that if you have a color other than white, black, gray or silver you're kinda limited on what you can do. I think anyways.

Maybe red and orange so when people see your car they get hungry for an xD ;)

I have the Barcelona Red xd. I went with Bronze Enkei's 17,s .

Scored em used. It looks nice. Got the steelies with snows on now.

They do look nice with the red IMO.

i like the bronze and red too, but I would go with gold or even (maybe) black if the price was right. I'm in school, everything is just wayyy out of my budget right now.

where are you from? if i get bronze ones, I have to make sure I don't run into you anywhere lol.
