plan a full day for the removal and paint. It sucked trying to get the badge off the front of the car. I like the way they look so in the end it was worth two days of really sore finger tips.

hey xcxd, no worry the days after i got my xd i was modding away with parts i stocked up prior to buying my xd. in fact still have a few here and there mods sitting around. LOL. but it's so fun to get a new car and not even a week have some mods on there and people are confused about the new car you just bought. LOL.

With the dark car, gunmetal wheels and dark tint i did not want my emblems to shine. I wanted them to blend in with the other colors. I also permenantly removed the xd emblem. I dont like the way it looks on the car. I am planning on putting the bumber vinyl on the front of the car that blue bat offers. I just did not think the shiny emblems would look good with all the gray and gunmetal on the car. The painting process was very easy and i love the results. However, removing the scion emblems was a pain especially on the front.

Thats why owning a car is fun. To each his own. I could not stand to have shiny emblems on a car that dark.

No, I think it looks really cool on your dark car, but it would look totally weird on my Barcelona Red. It suits the shiny emblems.

You can always color match the emblems so they match the car instead of blacking them out

Yeah, you could color match them but i agree on red that could be a little weird. i would stick to the shiny emblems on the red car. It makes sense on your car because its a bright shiny color I was going for something different on the darker car.

For anyone wondering those are also the nf 210's with 16 inch wheels. I just could not justify buying new wheels and tires right out of the door so I stuck with 16 x7 wheels and the oem tires. When they wear out I will look for a lower profile.

wow for a week old your car looks great

I like the badges, they almost look color matched in the pics... If i were you i would fill the SCION letters with a darker black, I think that'd look great.
