Default Randomly Turns Off

Been having two crazy issues with my XD that seems to be getting worse.

Issue #1... when driving around slow like pulling in/out of a parking spot the power steering will just completely go out. Come's back after a few seconds on its own but it usually happens at a terrible time.

Issue #2.. car turns off and then turns back on all by itself. I was noticing this only when parked and idling the car would shutoff for a second and then start itself again.. well its getting worse.. today on the freeway going 50mph it did the same thing.

Any ideas? New battery... thinking Alternator? Or could it be something totally different?

Hey Jeremy, I'm dealing with the exact same issue. Did you get this figured out? I'm at my wits end with this.

Check your injector grounds. After chasing this issue for 3 weeks straight, i finally just went through and tightened everything I could. Lo-and-behold, both of my injector grounds had vibrated and backed off enough to randomly cause my car to die.

Default Had similar issue

I had a similar issue. The power steering gets hard randomly when pulling in and out of parking lot and I did not experience the issue after refilling air in my tyres.
Could be the low tyre pressure causing the eps to work hard and draw more power

Have you changed your motor mounts to improve vibrations? Or maybe new tires too?
