Scion is #1 Best Brand in predicted reliability
Consumer Reports: Chrysler ranks dead last and Toyota's Scion places first in predicted reliability
Tuesday, Oct 27, 2009 When it comes to predicted reliability -- coming after years of gab from Detroit about how its cars don't break down anymore -- six American brands rank dead last in Consumer Reports' latest predictions on automotive reliability being released right now. At the other extreme, the best brand is Toyota's Scion. The worst is Chrysler and its least-reliable model is the Town & Country minivan, pictured above. A third of Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge models are considered much worse than average including the new Dodge Journey crossover. Only one Chrysler product is recommended by the magazine, the Dodge Ram 1500 pickup in the four-wheel-drive version. Not only is Scion the top brand, but the Xd is the most reliable Scion, Hence: Scion Xd is THE most reliable car in America.

My experience is the opposite
My Scion (from new) dash rattles and defroster vent vibrates, dont get me started on the vibration from the speakers...
My two Chryslers have been perfect - no problems. |

Toyota / Scion along with Honda ETC...I will never buy another American made Hooptie.

makes me happy to see pt cruiser at the bottom of the list with the third least reliable car, next to escalade (is it really even a comparison?) and clubman in best models;
im sick of that car and the people who buy it. |
This makes me happy to see because Ive had two different people look at my car and say... you should have bought a Charger! So glad to see Dodge/Chrysler at the bottom of the list and my car at the top.
