Scion xD odometer
I had to go to Department of Motor Vehicles to exchange license plate numbers. As I was filling out the form, there was a question that asked how many digits does the odometer contain, not including one tenths.
I started the car and found it hard to read since it a) only has 2000+ miles on it b) electronic display instead of rollback design c) glare d) it has other readings on the left side as well like *Trip A, MPG, etc*.
I don't much about electronic odometer designs and hope my xD reads 100,000+ miles in the future. Anyways, I put down 5 digits on the form. And to think that I spent almost $17,000 when Scion headquarters foreshadows their xD's would not last past 99,999 miles. Makes me regret buying one now.
Whatever happened to good, old reliability that was the standard for Toyota?
