What does the xD stand for...

What does the xD stand for: Any takers.

As amatter of fact. I'm new to Scions.
Sooo...

what does xA, xB & tC stand for?

tc is touring coupe i believe. i wish mine stood for turbo charged. one day....

Honda had the rights to xC so it became tC. So we go in alphabetical order A, B,C,D----although there is talk of a xR for Rally.

yes it was volvo, with the XC 90

I was told that they stood for xA(ero), xB(ox) & t(oyota)C(oupe/elica). And yes, Volvo did have dibs on the XC nameplate as aforementioned

Ohoh! Scion is in deep trouble with Olympus and Fujifilm. Whatever happened to the "Scion dL" rumor?

Abit off topic but should Toyota go after Koeniggsig for using CCX (Scion released the ccX concept in 2002.
