I've kept up with the factory maintenance schedule, and am happy to report that there have been no mechanical broblems so far. The TPMS computer had to be replaced under warranty just before 36000 miles but that is the only problem i've had so far.

No Mechanical problems yet, unless you count the oil consumption issue some of us have had (which I dont really count as it was fixed with an simple ECU update)

September 08 to now, 51k miles. That includes two cross-continent road trips. I am planning a third 10k mile trip that will be happening in a month, once I'm back I may be the new xD mileage king.
Only things changed were tires and oil.
Tranny fluid is due for a changing, brake pads are also almost gone. Rotors have hot spots, will need to be replaced. Wore through two sets of floor mats (driver's side). Windshield has a million chips, will replace soon. Timing belt due when the trip is done, pumps and spark plugs to be replaced then.
Original wiper blades still work perfect! Took the winter abuse pretty well.

Uhhh, no air filter changes by now? I thought they were supposed to be replaced every 15k miles. Also how do you wear through floor mats (twice!) in less than one year? You're f---ing hardcore though, I couldn't imagine driving that much in a year unless it was my job.

Ah yes, air filter was replaced with a K&N drop-in at 20k, I haven't looked at it since.
Not sure how the floor mats wore through. Maybe it's from all the dirt and mud I track into the car. Nice two bare spots on each heel, and I have a rubber mat under the floor mat to prevent it from wearing into the floor carpet.
Yep it's a job, all in the name of nature photography. And contract work in different parts across the country.

08 xD with 83k miles. It was one of our customer's (I work in the insurance biz) vehicles but it was involved in an accident and it was totaled. I thought it was a typo until I saw the estimate written and the picture of the cluster reading 83xxx

Just purchased a Black 2010 xD on 9-11-09 and have just under 200 miles...
I am finding it very difficult in obtaining descent mats for the entire vehicle, I placed an order with Weathertech for the first row but it appears they don't offer the 2nd row and the cargo area...
I see there is nothing but endless possibilities for the Scion xD for modifications however descent mats for the entire vehicle appears to be M.I.A
Here is my start..
1. Remote Engine Start 2. Interior Light Kit 3. Illuminated Door Sill
4. Sport Pedal 5. Sport Steering Wheel 6. Auto Dimming Mirror
7. Overhead Console 8.Rear Bumper Protector 9. Carbon Fiber Window Trim Kit 10. BLU LOGIC Hands Free System
