xD: Quality TRD Parts?

so i have a question for anybody who has had experience with TRD Aftermarket Parts. Im wanting opinions on the TRD Axel Back and the TRD Drop springs. anybody have some good/bad feedback on the parts and the service that comes along with them? when it comes to the exhaust, what does it sound like, is it some kind of raspy crap? or is it a pretty smooth tone like i have been hearing about the Strup? what is the real drop distance from the TRD springs, i have been told 1.5+. Also, i have heard there are some peices you can remove from the rear suspension to drop a little more, where/what is that? Thanks for all the help guys!

for the exhaust...look it up on youtube. Theres a few xD's on there with TRD and other exhaust set ups.

well thats retarded. Some of them sound raspy and some of them sound ok, but then again it could just be the quality of the videos. I've never heard an xD with an exhaust in person.

I have the TRD springs on my xD and they are hard, I would go with H&R springs. I have the H&R springs on my tC and they are perfect. As far as exhaust the TRD is a really good sounding exhaust, not raspy at all.

the trd exhaust is pretty scaled back. nice sound but you wont really notice it unless you are WOT. for springs, i cant say much. i went with tein cause i wanted to go as low as i could with springs (2.2in). i feel that if i went with trd then id just wanna go lower lol.

see thats me to, but at the same time, in my current situation, its alot easier to go conservative with the drop. But with the exhaust, i want good tone, a little noise, but not to loud...

in that case i think the trd exhaust will do you well. i cant vouch for the springs.

i have the trd springs on mine right now they are pretty good feeling and the drop is not as crazy as some of the others i wanted to go lower but am going to get a new car soon but if your looking for conservative the trd springs are pretty nice imo.

yeah i love the trd exhaust, it's alot softer but enough to hear so you know i do i have exhaust. as for the trd springs i probably would've went that way if it was my first time. but after dropping a few scions i finally learned my lesson and bought coilovers cause i was never satisfied with the drop and with the coils i could adjust um. but in the end i just slammed it almost all the way down. lol

I've got the trd springs and the drop is mild, about 1.5" is right. It works with the wheel/tire setup i'm running and i wasnt looking to slam it anyway. They are stiffer than stock and it helps with cornering by stiffening up the suspension. The ride does suffer a little but that is to be expected with lowered springs. The trd rear sway bar actually did a great job of eliminating the body roll, now my xd corners like a slot car!

I ended up with the Tanabe exhaust because I wanted a little deeper tone than the trd. The medalion has a nice deep note and aggressive at WOT, no rasp or buzz.
