suspension clunk + subframe?
I am experiencing a *clunk* noise in the front suspension when I go over speed bumps. I have been reading on this forum that it might be due to failed bolts in the sub frame.
Can anyone describe to me where these sub frame bolts are located. I can not find any images or diagrams on the web.
Thanks!

The bolts you are referring to goes through the lower control arm. There is an updated part number (90119-14151) for these bolts to address the issue. 2008-2011 Scion xDs and various Toyota Yaris vehicles were affected by this issue.
I found a picture to help show you the exact location.

Did you have this same issue? Did replacing the bolts with the updated ones fix the problem?
My noise only happens when the passenger front wheel goes over a bump.

I used to have a Yaris sedan and remembered this being an issue that was applicable to both the Yaris and xD. The Yaris I owned had it done prior to me purchasing the vehicle.
