Another TRD Stabilizer Bar Install
We bought this xD as a wedding present for our youngest daughter. After a few years she and here husband decided they needed a Subaru Forester. Nice car. Anyway. I bought the xD from them and decided to make it one our retirement cars once I retire. 42K and like new. I like it..........everything except the understeer worse than anything I've driven in a while since my brothers 1969 Roadrunner that understeered me into a corn field. It mostly bothered me sub limit.....doesn't make a lot of sense to drive this xD at the limit. You know. The TRD piece went on easily. Went for a ride on the local road with lots of "20 mph" curves. No new noises, no clunks, nothing noticeable going straight down the road. I didn't expect much improvement when driven easily and was surprised that the massive understeer had been improved even way below the limit. It now feels like other FWD cars that have been set up from the factory with more neutral handling, I really like it. This car should have come with a rear bar.

I upgraded my wheels with a set of aluminum Subaru wheels. I forget what the offset was, but I added 5mm spacers, which gave me about 3mm more scrub radius than stock. No clearance issues, and it reduces the understeer quite well.
