Cool I've been looking for a thread addressing this issue. I just got some TC rims for my XD and they look fairly good. I bought them off of craigslist for $300 for the set. Two of them were curbed (but not bad) and the other two looked like new.

To the point though, I weighed the TC rims (with a hanging scale)before I put them on, and they weighed 21 lbs (no tire). This info you can also find on the TC forum, but I weighed mine before I checked the forum which made me feel confident on the accuracy of the scale. Now that I have my TC rims on, I weighed the OEM XD steel wheels at 19.7~19.9 lbs with no tire or hub cap. My hanging scale is not digital so it was as close to 20 lbs without touching it, and with the hub cap on it would probably be safe to call it 20 lbs (no tire). Hope this helps!

Do the 18" tC rims go straight on the xd? Any need for spacers or anything?

What about these 17" tC rims?

You will need the TC lug nuts, ours are tapered at the end while the ones from the TC are flat with a washer. I got the 17 inch to open up my tire choices from the 3 choices of the 16 inch.
