Change tire size from the 195's
I want to go to a 205 size tire to save a few bucks. Any thoughts if this will be safe to do so. I have heard that it may confuse the computer and "bottom-out" on bumps...

You'll be just fine. I don't think you'll even notice any difference. I'm running 225-55r16's instead of my stock 205-55R16's on my stock wheels and I don't notice any real substantial difference.
Making a small move like you have, you shouldn't notice anything, even including your speedo. Maybe a mph or so around 70-75mph.
