Has anyone used SRT-4 wheels on the xD?

I saw one tC with SRT-4 wheels and it looked good. I have access to a set so I wondered if the center bore will fit our cars? Also, couldn't find the offset of the SRT wheels or the width. Surely they are at least 17 x 7?

I don't know the center bore, but if they aren't the same a set of hub rings are can be had on the cheap. Sorry, I don't know the size either.

SRT-4 Wheels will fit the xD, I have thrown them on mine in the past, I never kept them on though cause the owner wanted to run his stock wheels so I took his aftermarket ones...

17 x 7 +42 offset I believe...

kinda high with the offset for the xD.

it should be somewhat near the stock steel wheels... besides they look good on the xD

stock xD offset is 38. i know it's a few MM's, but they look sunck under the car. 35 is the perfect offset on the xD as you know

WellesleyScion 06-02-2009 01:20 PM

True the +35's do sit perfectly. But if he can get them cheap, throw some spacers on and its good to go

With the extra .25 inches on each side, they should sit almost exactly the same. will actually sit out a little from +38 @ 6.5, about 1-3mm more.

I think Jims point was that the stock ones look sunken, so if the SRT wheels are close to the same then they will look sunken as well...

Yea , just have to remember that your adding half of your width gain on either side and while 1/4" isnt much, the 6mm or so does make a slight difference. I think they will look fine. especially for a good set of budget wheels like srt-4's, they have a solid oem look and dont break the bank. Since you ran them, do you remember if they were hub centric so we can get that out of the way and make sure he doesnt need centric rings?

I did not drive with them on, I only had mounted them to see how they looked... but they were a direct bolt on...

JDMJim 06-02-2009 02:51 PM

hmm, i saw a tC that had those rims and they didn't look right. but thats just the thing. getting spacers to make a rim that bolts up look right never made sense to me. I bought my xD for my Konig Glides. now on the other hand, I have been toying with the idea of using these Mazdaspeed rims I have. they don't bolt up, but with hub adaptors, the offset will be back to spec.

The wheels are a 17 x 6 btw. A little narrow for a 17. I did not put them on yet, but they come with I believe a 205/50-17 tire on them which according to the 1010tire.com converter is almost exactly spot on with no change in mph.
