Default Need 1st hand expertise of someone thats fitted 8.5"s or 9"s in the front

looking for someone with first hand experience or pictures of wide rims up front.

Probably picking up a set of 17 x 9.5s this weekend, looking for offsets people had used, any fender rolling, pulling theyve done, backspacing problems anyones run into.

just getting an idea of how much pulling im gonna be doing to get these fit.

dont think I'll have an issue fitting them out back.

Gonna be fun fitting these.

Yea I'm aware, this set is a guinea pig, the price was right, they are 17x9.5 +60 so im gonna be able to take measurements after i get the wheels and adapt them to fit as best as possible, then work on the roll and pull

o man...good luck. you'll probably need +25~+30 spacers. go with the bolt on spacers

Thats the idea.

its actually +56, but almost the same thing. The plan is to use the high offset as a buffer zone for adapters, its gonna allow me to test fit the wheels, and measure out how far out i need to clear the suspension, which will give me the least aggressive fitment.

edit: and when i say least aggressive, 9.5 is gonna be hella aggressive any way you do it on the xD. But dont feel like poking 3" which is something you risk by taking your chances with a proper offset.

The price was right, and its gonna provide the perfect guinea pig for fitting 9.5s all around

I have 18x8.5 on the xA up front, and no fitment issues, but that 56 offset is crazy. Love to see it after the are mounted and spaced.

well i have 8.5 in the front and 9 in the rear. is this 9.5 all around? for me i didn't do NO rolling, pulling filing cutting etc... and she runs good with no rubbing, even with full loads.
