+48 mm with an 8 inch wide wheel fits? Didn't know that...

+48 is super tucked. I have seen the xD with 18 X 8 on 35 offset with no issues.

Yeah I thought +45 was kinda the limit. 8 inches and +35 is what I want eventually...just haven't found the right one yet

I have done alot of experimenting with rims and offset by using spacers and such...Just check my threads...

But I'm currently running 18X8 +35 offset with 225/40/18 dropped on DF210's and I rubbed like crazy...Had to grind the rear inner fender lip...The fronts are fine without modification, only rub on plastic liner over large dips...

You should be fine with the wheels and offset you mentioned...I'm sure it's a typo but you said a 225/45/18 tire when your looking at 17" rims...Just wanted to make sure you get the right size tire ...

To help with that +48 offset because they MAY sit to far in, hit up RANDODE.COM and get yourself a 5mm spacer...I did a write up on installation in the suspension forums...

Good luck...

By the way, if you are getting the wheels for the concave look, I'd try to find a picture of the wheels in the actual specs you are getting. That picture may be deceiving because that huge concave effect usually only shows up on wide wheels (9 inches+) with low offsets. On an 8 inch wheel with a +48 offset it may not be as concave as you would like...

This is correct, +48 is not likely to show a concave, you generally only get that look at a low offset (higher displacement from hub to wheel edge). you could always give the 17x9 +42 a shot if you're interested in a wider wheel, and that will sit closer to flush fitment. Also depends on how aggressive you want to get with it. +48 should work, it will just sit in about the same as your stock steel wheels are (max of 1/4" further out) and just have an inch and a half more width on the inside.

steve dude i dont see you online in psn nomore! i wanted to ask you about it lol.. are you still mad at me because of cod?! jkjk.

xDtool i was hesitant about the 9" because of the rubbing since im dropped with the Df210's. I am interested in the concave look. so ill try and get the 17x9's.

the only problem now is that the wheels are backordered -_-.... siiggghhhhhhhhhhh

thanks for the help guys. i really appreciate it.

yea man, i understand your hesitance. katch is running 9 in the back at +40 on coilovers and he doesnt rub, although he is running a slight stretch, i think between the extra couple mm clearance, and about .3-.5" less of a drop, you SHOULD be ok.
