Post your own pics of the 2011 Scion xB2
The rear looks more minivan-ish now. I think it would be cool to turn the bumper reflectors into backup lights and then install the old solid red tail lights.
If you really want an amber turn signal and all red tail lights, I think you can install a green bulb for the turn signal lamp.

Seems like the changes both exterior and the seats have indeed made the vehicle more car/minivan-"ish" than the previous 2nd gen. It seems like Scion is step-by-step moving further away from the original "box" concept. Anyone else think the 1G xB owners are going to have a field day laughing at the 2G owner's with this development? Funny thing is, it's really still a 2G, though doesn't so much feel like it to me
!
I've read the sales numbers for the 2G to-date have fallen short of the 1G numbers. I suspect the recession had something to do with that, but I'm guessing the 2011 xB design is expected to help boost them (less quirk, more mainstream?) I wonder how this will actually work out?

Can you tell us if the engine is a 2.4L or a 2.5L? I've been holding off on getting an xB mostly because of low funds but the stories of bad water pumps don't help. If it has the new engine then maybe they fixed the water pump problem too.
It's the same engine, you can bet Scion'd be talking about it otherwise. If the new U.S. fleet mpg requires it, there may be a 2.5L when the new version appears (xB3), but that won't be for another year or two. This is just an exterior and interior refresh -- Toyota is hoping for an uptick in sales.
