My girlfriend has a set of these on her 07 TC:

She wants me to put LEDs in the bottom 4 "laser sights" I call them. However, I cannot get headlights out. I removed the 2 screws on the top, but are there more underneath?

remove the front bumper first. it's easy from there.

 

They are held in with a lil rubber plug (each led). Just give them a tug and they'll pop right out.

 

So that entire airdam on the front has to come off first huh?

Once the headlights are out, I'll know how the LEDs/bulbs come out/go in.

It was just a matter of getting to them in the first place!

There are actually videos on youtube of how to INSTALL, so i am sure you can watch and figure out how to do the reverse.

As they all said, I would take the bumper off.....then remove headlights and get back to the stock bumper.

 

1) remove bumper
2) trash bumper
3) get OEM bumper
4) remove headlights
5) trash headlights
6) get OEM headlights
7) put all back together
8 ) ????????
9) profit

But yah, everyone else has got you covered

 

omg you dont have to remove the bumper, reach behind the headlight and pull the little rubber plugs out, it takes 2 seconds. just use your eyes and common sense.

 

not sure much of that exists right now.. i mean.. look at the car.
it's the Raven kit.. only a few select special people like that kit..

not hounding on it, it's just the fact remains that it's a poorly designed and the fitment isn't that great as you can easily tell.

not my cup of tea (and most others), you can say... but as long as they like it. whatever.

fyi, those headlights aren't designed that well either and they should already have leds in them where he wants to put them. if they aren't on, they are either not hooked up correctly, or broken.

 

I have the same headlights but with the clear corners and retrofitted and I like them. They do come with LEDs and it's very easy to change them you just need an ounce of intelligence with a side of common sense. The headlights do not need to be removed

 

If you have the bumper off, when you reinstall it please try to make it flush with the fender. (Only helps a little since the front bumper is HIDEOUS but none the less)

That won't happen. That kit is sh*t*y by design. It won't line up if he just pushes it into place.

 

well.. his initial question was asking on how to remove the headlights..

at which the answer would technically be... you have to remove the bumper first.
