Like i said users dont run this site, its a management site run by a company. They need to write codes for that. They wont do it for a thread...every month

 

If i had the knowledge to write codes, i would so do it for scionlife. I guess this wont work. I tried. Maybe someday. haha.

Why not just start a thread for the users who have features of their cars and they can get posted there for others to read. It's not ROTM but I believe there is already a scion of the month on some other forum.

 

Some people would make new accounts just to nominate and vote for themselves. People would do anything to win.

 

Eric why not just pm Tom. That'd be better since you could really get to the bottom of it. Maybe suggest doing a trial period of some sort to gauge the results.

if we can come up with a workable format I can present it and see if it flies. As long as it doesn't turn into flame wars it can be a good thing IMO.Anyone can message me with ideas and I will gladly present them.

 

I vote fore either a Blog style feature or just have one sticky post that holds just the ROTM's and one sticky post devoted to the discussion/submissions etc.

 

why not run it like an electronic magazine but only do 1 article a month. it could help people with sponsers. pete does make a valid point tho we would burn through all the cars really fast.

Great news!

If we cant have a blog style front page how about a new category under sub-forum labled "Ride of the Month" in the tc1 lounge?

This can be dedicated for ROTM nominating, ROTM voting, and ROTM winner thread.

When we have a winner we should also have "Ride of the month" labeled near our user name. Kind of like how theres a happy birthday under our user name when its someone's bday. "Ride of the month" should glow or flash or something haha.

 

Would this be exclusively tc1 or would this apply to the entire forum?
