Default xD OWNERS WE NEED TO VOICE UP! MORE MOD OPTIONS FOR OUR xDs!!!

At first i had the crashed/crashing economy to blame for this, but scion cars are still selling. But there seem to be something wrong why there are not a lot of options of mods for our xDs. I think even the new body tC have more options than our old xDs (old because the body is still the same from the first day launched until the new ones out and still to come out in the next year THATS 5 YEARS!) ---MEANING IT SHOULD BE A REALLY GOOD REASON WHY OPTIONS SHOULDNT BE ON HOLD.

Ive started to lose hope and I'm sure a lot of you guys as well.
BUT IF WE DONT GET OUR ACTS STRAIGHT AND VOICE OUT LOUD, then i don't think wed really get more than what we have now.

This started getting to me just recently...

I have a good plan for my xD which would start with the TRD parts but i can't go on without Toyota making more TRD parts for it. Ive collected what TRD had to offer for my xD but had to put installations on hold because i need more that what i have now.

Even on some quiet simple things for instance, an OEM fit fog light? I've only found one kind and it is sold out on a couple of sites i found it from other that or the price is just sky rocketing which is not reasonable for my wallet but it does for them because they are the only one that sells it and we buyers have no choice.

Next is an OEM fit sound system, to be honest the first upgrade/mod i bought/did for my xD is a stereo. I bought the Pioneer AVIC F90BT and installed in myself. This is only in a couple of months period from the day i bought my xD. Have searched and is still searching for the OEM fit sound system/speaker system. Just about now came across OEMAudio+ on Facebook through Scion's page. they have very nice sets for the tC and the xB and seems like the iQ as well even if its not even out yet and as usual nothing for the xD. Check them out very nice systems...OEMAudioPlus.

Anyhow these are just a couple/3 things to mention out of a bunch that were missing out.

So i encourage you my xD co-owners to VOICE UP please!!!

At least help me out with my TRD parts and that OEM fit speaker systems i want from OEMAudioPlus...heres a link to our conversation...

https://www.facebook.com/oemaudioplu...omment_mention

https://www.facebook.com/oemaudioplus?sk=wall

PLEASE LIKE my POST SO THAT THEY CAN BE CONVINCED TO MAKE A SET FOR OUR xDs.

MAYBE THIS CAN BE THE TRUE START OUT OF ALL ATTEMPTS OF VOICING OUT FOR MORE OPTIONS OF MODS FOR OUr xDs...IF NOONE STARTS MAKING SOMETHING, NO ONE WILL FOLLOW MAKING MORE.

Hope to hear from you guys soon! God bless! Le3

Yeah it sucks being looked over, but speakers are easy. Just buy the Toyota 6 1/2" adapter + speakers = done.

well, there ain't a lot of xD's on the road, so I guess they would lose money if they make parts for the D.

I think total US model sales from mid 2007-present is around 60,000 units. That seems pretty good to me.

THIS, I think some of the xD guys are underestimating how bad it could be. Still though we have every bolt on suspension and chassis mod you could think of along with most of the engine bolt ons available to us as well. According to what I have been hearing a plug n play programmer is in the works too. I think a turbo kit and major engine modification are probably still a ways off though.

I doubt the piping of our cars is going to be the same but if it is then like you said a kit might be ready soon.

keep in mind. a lot of people buy these cars for fuel efficiency. isnt much of a powerhouse either. but its slowly making progress and the only way other companies start getting involve will be the day when theres more people interesting in modding the xd. for now. ii think we have a decent amount of stuff to give us options (spring and exhaust options) to keep us entertained.

I agree.. The xD is just not the kind of car MOST people want to build upon. The aftermarket is not going to invest time and money into something that they see as being lackluster.
The xD is a well thought-out package that is well equipped and optimized
from the factory.. The options offered are in-line with the whole package and not much more is needed... and the aftermarket world seems to acknowledge that.. I enjoy the fact that not much is needed to make it complete...

Stop relaying on the shop to find mods for your car. Their are plenty of mods to be found online.

I just got my 2012 xD and I love it so far. Yes, I bought it for the fuel economy but I chose the xD over other cars because I like the way it looks. I upgraded to the 16" factory rims and the TRD swaybar but I can't find much online and I've spent hours looking!

One thing I would really like to see is fog lights but apparently there aren't even any good aftermarket choices?

This is actually a nice "factory" looking fog light kit if you got the standard xD without body kit( http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...&parts_id=2297 ) trdsparks.com is sold out it looks like but I'm sure if you searched you could find them. There are some xD's on here that are running them, I think they look nice...
