Don't suppose any of you have a link to a writeup on how to swap out the speedometer background like that? Seems like a fun project!

That's cool to hear! Basically, do you have to take the whole dash apart, or is there a way to slip an insert in there? I'm excited about the possibility of doing this!

customxbguages.com r2 the face involves drop ur wheel down, yank the bezel out. Two screws and two plugs come out. Then pop the cluster out.

I think I might get one of these, or have one custom made. The guides at http://www.customxbgauges.com/ say that you should swap the bezel while the car is running though, does that make sense? I think it'd be a lot safer to do while the car is off (no electricity!)...

Default Gauge Face swap anyone? 2013 white any year black

I actually like the black/dark face better. I'm assuming the fit is the same across all model years but pls correct me if I am mistaken. I'm located in San Jose CA.

Also if anyone has a spare black one they want to sell, PM me and let's make a deal :-)
