Only 5 years? Congrats, and it has just over 32K miles? Re-sale shouldnt be a problem.
I took delivery of my RS1 03-04-04 and have almost almost 90K miles.

I've had at least 1 other car the whole time I owned my box. I now have 2 other cars plus my scooter that I commute with (in good weather).
I'm not keeping my xB miles low on purpose....and my box IS my winter vehicle, it's all I drive from Dec 1 - late March.

...that's where the spotted those UFOs in the early 90's. I've driven through there. Also a nice little stretch of wilderness along the outermost beach.
Nice and warm for scooting down there.

5 Happy Years !!!!!
Post up photos of those 5 year old boxes.
Mine turned 5 this week, 99,000 miles and looking good as shown here:
Secrets to long box life:
Keep it garaged.
Use your moped / scooter for grocery runs and errands.
Change oil yourself every 5,000 miles.
Wash often and wax often.
The only other maintenance required was 2 rear brake adjustments.
I am amazed how well this has worked out, affordable and functional.

Alternative vehicle....
Moped or scooter? My Polar White Targa LX is shown here:
22,000 Miles on my trusty moped.
Used for all local errands to avoid that 'hot car in parking lot' problem.
Any size milk carton fits on the rack.
Used all year long, there might be a three week cold spell twice each
winter, but a month has not gone by that I could not use it since I
bought it in October 1996.

Looks GOOD!
typhoonorchid, your box looks great with no front plate.
I'm going to have to put my black grill back in, to be unique again.
That rukus thing looks cool. Does that take a plate in your state?
