I would put some sort of cushion on the upper part of the plate. Looks like the top of the plate would rattle on the bumper. Other than that, looks like a good job.

If you run just a plate, that may be necessary. But with a rigid frame, should move at all. These things are beefy! the reason i made them was i couldn't believe the flimsy little mounts guys were selling. you bump them with your foot and they'd bend. you'll rip the grill out before these things move!

^^^ X2 on that... the upper part of the plate is what I noticed first as well. Other than that I think it looks pretty good.

still waiting to try on an 08'. got a local guy i just haven't hooked up with yet. i tried on a RS1 xD, and the grills looked similar. it seemed to fit ok.

And i have 3 lengths, so if you wanted longer, i have 1/2" longer than shown. but honestly, that plate does not move. these are solid! Click my link and see how close mine is on my xB, and it does not touch at all.

Got my mounts on Friday. Really solid stuff, and they fit the grill (07 tC) /plate good.

One suggestion I might make to you,

The studs on the back of the mounts were too long to clear my intercooler (standard Dezod) and so I had to put the mounts on the top of the plate (upside-down of what you show).

Minor setback

I looked and I think you could get away with making the studs shorter to clear an intercooler

Just some constructive criticism, but overall a great product!

Thanks

Glad you got them on. These are all made to fit the stock stuff, yet be somewhat universal, for other mods, or makes/models. So the stems are as long as i could get them and still fit stock, so other applications could cut them down if needed. They are custom parts, that may require some tailoring to fit other than stock. Thanks for the criticism, it's always welcomed, and i welcome anyones ideas or input.

On my 08+ lower grille, it turns out really good!
Highly recommend this product! It mounts really solid and did not rattle on my bumper.
But I did use a camper tape on the back on my lisence plate just for safe!
Big credit to bbszero! great product!

Thanks Allen. Yeah, they mount up to the 08' & up, just sit at an upward angle a bit, you can see in his pics.
