I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a double DIN stereo that allows you to keep the stock door. Is there a certain frame that allows me to do that or does it all depend on the stereo? This is for my 2005 tc. Thank you in advance.

Seems like any new touchscreen headunit will fit without removing the door, I am going to be installing a Pioneer FH-X730BT this week and it has a volume **** that im worried about but I'll let you know!

I was able to keep my stock radio door when I installed the pioneer avh-x5600bhs double din. Works with the door (Mount it at like a slight angle toward the sunroof) and I got free Sirius XM for 3 months and Sirius XM tuner for free with a rebate. It is a lil slow on navigating menus, but it works perfect and the external mic works great at removing window noise, people say they here me crystal clear, but I sound kinda like a robot. As long as they can hear my words fine, I don't care how I sound to them haha. Oh and the DVD player is a nice touch, along with auto launching Pandora or Spotify whichever is selected when I turn my car on is a nice touch for my S8+
