Default Question about this Body Kit..

Extreme Dimensions GT Concept Body Kit 10pc: Scion tC 2011 - 2016 (tC2)

I'm curious if anyone has had any experience with this particular body kit. I have a 2014 Scion tC Monogram Series. Now the kit showed up under the tC2 parts but in the description it is telling me two different things. The entire kit says that its for 2011-2016, however in the description, it lists parts that say they are for 2011-2013. So i'm wondering if I were to buy this kit, would I be paying for a bunch of parts that don't fit or is there really no difference from 13-14 and it's just a mistake or something. I'm new to modding cars like this so any help or advice is appreciated.

Thanks

Check out the Differences here: Sticky tC2 <> tC2.5 Conversion

That 10 pc. Extreme Dimensions GT Kit appears to my eyes to be more for the tC2 (2011-2013) than our tC2.5 (2014-2016). Look at that Kit's Front Bumper. The Headlights and Fog Lights look like it would fit over the tC2 rather than our tC2.5

Before I consider spending $1,500 on a unknown Kit, I Suggest you Contact the Seller. I noticed there were No Reviews on their Site. Ask Questions. See if you can get brochures, pamphlets, PDFs.
Find out How Knowledgeable are they about the Differences. I find Certain Sellers to be Unknowledgeable. Only know what they are reading off their screens.

Another Problem. You and I have Special Editions. Do you really want to Radically Change the look of your Special Edition? You may De-Value your car. Of course, that is Your Privilege. That is what Modding is About. What YOU want.

You might want to consider their Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood at $646. Seibon OEM Carbon Fiber Hood: Scion tC 2014 - 2015 (tC2)

That will Definitively give you a Custom Look w/o the expense and hassle of installing a 10 pc. Kit that may or may not fit your car.

Another way to go is to get a Wrap. The Above Examples shows a 2006 xB RS3 with a Black Hood and Roof Wrap. Another Member who Wrap her Entire car in Peach! The shops in my area can wrap the Entire Car if you want to Change the Color.
They can offer CF, Wood, Metal, Marble looks almost anything. The Looks are Endless. Just a Simple Hood Wrap will set you apart. It also offers a bit of protection
(not as well as my XPEL Paint Protection Film https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sci...-5-rs9-232519/ )

A Hood Wrap does cover imperfections like nicks, scratches, rock pits. All something to Consider.

Oh okay I never realized there was a 2.5 generation. I've only seen 1 and 2. I think the main thing I liked about that kit was the hood as I haven't been able to find any hoods that I like for mine. The bumpers and skirts I feel I could achieve those kind of looks with lips or separate parts. Don't need to replace the spoiler, i'm okay with the stock one. And I like the color on mine too so I don't think i'd get a wrap.

Hello Riverman23! Welcome to SL!

tC1 (2005-2010)

tC2 (2011-2013)

tC2.5 (2014-2016)

You
won't find too many manufacturers making Hoods for Scions these days.
Adding a Custom Hood Scoop will also change your look:

Also Please Check out the informative Stickys in the Header of this Forum HERE.
