Hatch doesn't open, No Power back there
I am getting a 2006 xB all fixed up.
It was missing the tailgate garish when I got it including the lic plate lights and the button to pop the hatch open.
I have the hatch open and have probed all the wires and do not see positive anywhere.
Which wire should have power and if I have no power where should I look?
Plans are to add a new button under the garish once I get it figured out.

So if I am not getting any power to the hatch door on any wire except for the wire that powers the lic plate lights then what should I do?
Is it a constant 12 volt back there or does it turn on and off based on if the doors are locked or not?

So there is no wire to the lock that you can find? I take it you have the back cover off... any sign of a wire going from the door into the body?
