Oil Pan Removal help
(Scion tC 2006)... Long story short I striped the oil plug trying to make the oil change on my own. Lesson learned, won't happen again... anyway, I managed to get it re-threaded but the plug is leaking, and I hate it. I want to fix.
What should I do? Change the oil pan and gasket or try to fix the faulty plug? Any tips to create a better seal and stop the leaking?
Problem to change pan is removing the pan bolts. Some are easy but some are blocked by the exhaust and other parts that give little room to work.
Any advice to approach the bolts or by-pass those obstacle.
If not? How do I remove the exhaust? Do I need a special torque tool or anything?
Any advice is welcome, Thank you!!!
