Hey guys, new to the forum. I was wondering if anyone could share pictures of how the rear suspension is setup? Including the whole rear crossmember (and how it's mounted) as well as how the shocks mount.
I do not own a 2nd gen tC but rather a 2014 Corolla and I was looking into seeing how feasible it would be to swap in the rear suspension from the tC onto my Corolla to get rid of the solid axle.
The cars do share the same platform and have the same wheelbase so I'm kind of feeling confident that it may be possible to swap.

The reason I'm interested in the swap is not because of performance gains but rather aesthetics. My Corolla is rather low and the rear wheels have moved forward due to the solid axle.
I had metal plates made to relocate the wheel hub but I think it'd be even cooler if I could swap the rear suspension out.

The floorpan is quite different between the two, but my suggestion would be to also look into the iM, as it actually shares a platform with the Corolla, and has the independent rear suspension as well.

Additionally, the 2009+ Matrix XRS is a good option as well.
