Default 2005 xB with factory alarm help finding 2P connector for fog light switch.

I’m in the process of installing aftermarket fog lights in my ‘05 xB. It has a factory alarm and I can’t find the 2P connector for the fog light switch. I pulled most of the center dash console and only see the harness for the alarm glass breakage sensor and LED.
It is possible that there is only one connector that can be used for either the fog light switch or the alarm panel?
Also still scratching my head over how to access the socket for the relay.

The 2 pin connector is usually taped to the harness that runs along the driver side of the dash, follow cigarette lighter plug, You'll need to install a relay that plugs in on the left side of the fuse box, its a pain in the butt to plug in, there are existing connectors for the lights behind bumper cover. I found a video on Youtube, hope it helps. I believe there is a detailed write up on Clubxb.com

Thanks. Yeah I watched that video and it didn’t really help. That 2P connector for the switch I think is occupied by the small panel for the alarm status led and glass breakage sensor. I’ll dig deeper into the center console and report back.
Thanks again for the input.

you need to pull the center stack out, and the cubby. the connector will most likely be taped along its loom back behind or next to the flip down cubby.

That alarm status light is just a pop-out for the early first gens, and I believe its molded in for the 06.5
