2014 tC - moonroof won't open issues!!!!!
Hi, I been looking a diffeaent sources, forums etc and I'm not able to find my answers.
I went today to the dealership (an actual Toyota) to do my service I asked if they could look into the issue of the moon roof. They told me they can't as the only way to check it running a diagnostic for 120 dollars. Once is finished and they know what it is thyt can repair and charge me that as well... That is BS....
Issue: in 5 years I have own the car I think I have use 10 times, lately I wanted to use it I notice when press open it won't open. Then after couple of hours sometimes days all of student it opens and closes fine, then if I park and after hours of working fine it doesn't work. So basivbasi it works randomly and I'm not sure now if it doesn't work anymlre
I wanted to know if anyone is experiencing this issue on their Scion tC 2014. If so, how they repaired or what can I do, what can expect to pay to repair or ehatboptions inha e besides leaving like that non working ( is not like I use it a lot , but still)
Thanks

IIRC I've heard that clearing the ECU will fix this. (Easiest way is to unhook the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect it). The only thing you'll have to reset is the clock, worth it for a test.
