Rear hatch rattle
So my rear hatch is rattling and I wanted to replace what seem to be worn out bump stops.
Does anyone know the official name for these of have a part number?
I have been searching Google and have not found anything.

Please do explain where would one install that on the hatch because I've been battling this for years with to no avail. All the DIYs I found were utterly useless and didn't solve my issues because there some slight design differences over the years during the first gen Scion tC.

I installed the furniture pads on the rear bumper cover. Look for the circular or semi circular divets (where the lower hatch bumpers rest against the bumper cover.) The furniture pads should help keep the upper, hard-rubber hatch bumpers from clunking together.

So my question is do these hatch /cushions/isolators wear out? Wondering if I need to buy new ones or save money and get some at the salvage yard and put better stick on pads on those.
For anyone questioning the parts I am looking at, referencing the pic above
#2 67281-21020 Lift Gate Stopper
#4 67893-21020 Lift Gate Upper Insulator

The lower hatch bumpers are too short to prevent the upper rubber bumpers from clunking together.

Anyway, thankfully it will be 40 degrees tomorrow (50-60 this weekend) and will stop at the junkyard tomorrow and get this rattle taken care of . It is a lot worse with this polar vortex :-)

Got the parts at the salvage yard. Put them on, added some furniture pads and ahhhhhhhhhhh hatch rattle gone on drive to work today.
