BluNRG's Blue Onyx xB

Darrell likes his xB. How much, you ask? Well, he is the founder of Scion West, the first US Scion club and the largest club in existence. His Blue Onyx Pearl xB has also been the guinea pig for many of the mods that you will no doubt see on an xB near you!

Darrell needed a vehicle that would be versatile enough to survive hauling around his DJ equipment while also providing economic transportation to and from Knotts Berry Farm, where he toils away in the Entertainment Department.
He saw the xB at the L.A. Auto Show and instantly knew that it would fit his requirements AND provide the style to which he needed.

As soon as he got the car he started adding his personal touches. Performance mods include an AEM cold-air intake and an AFR exhaust to increase the air flow both into and out of the engine. Next on his list is NOS for that extra oomph when a Mustang wants to intimidate.

The car definitely needed some attitude, so Darrell bolted on a set of Velox wheels with Falken tires and settled the car onto a set of Spy springs.

Other mods include aluminum side splitters, custom billet grills, tinted rear tail lights (first xB to do that), JDM foglights, rear mounted color reverse camera, hood pins and a headlight strobe system.

Inside the car you will find a Clarion VRX925 in-dash DVD with monitor, two accelevision 5.6" monitors in the headrests, a 5.8" monitor behind rear the license plate, Polk speakers, chameleon-painted door panels and dash parts, Auto
Technic gauges in the dash (oil temp, oil pressure and turbo), Blue Indiglo pedals, and a Lynx 2000 remote-start 2-way alarm.

If you live in the L.A. area then you will surely see this blue pearl running around with gobs of other Scions. Just cruise by Krispy Kreme and you will see Darrell licking off his fingers with a grin on his face.
