Concept
A New Hope is a battle between Historic and Futuristic styles which were formerly known as light side and dark side. Featuring bboys with more the traditional bboy foundation and the more unorthodox styles. It will be a 2 on 2 competition.

Historic style and what its about
The historic style will be judged on the traditional style of b-boying, how b-boying should look and understanding how the traditional style of b-boying appears: Toprocks, footwork, burns, freezes, groundpower. Know that if you and your partner choose to go this route in the competition, you and your partner will be judged more on your flavor and style than difficulty.

Futuristic style and what its about
The futuristic style will be judged on the difficulty of the moves and the transition between move to move. This bracket is about being different with a unique style and personality: Dynamic moves, character, power & tricks, consistency. Know that if you and your partner choose to go this route in the competition, you and your partner will be judged more upon your character & difficulty in moves along with the attitude you bring.

**We will be taking the top 2 teams from each bracket. EVERYONE WILL BATTLE! There will be no showcases

**ONLY 32 TEAMS... ALL MUST ARRIVE WITHIN ONE HOUR AFTER OPENING OR THEY WILL BE REPLACED**
