Default air sus, DIY or shop install

so did you install your air yourself or did you pay someone to do it? if you did it yourself what was the difficulty and how good of a mechanic are you?

The AirLift Easy Street set up is basically a bolt in. You need to cut one small area on the rear upper spring perch (cut off tool grinder ar maybe even a sabersaw could be used). Basic hand tools and jacks and stands (a drill also) are all you really need beyond that. I am a very accomplished mechanic and body modifier but I think almost anyone with basic mechanical skills could successfully install this kit. Following the instructions closely and routing the hoses wisely will make for a good functional install. Making it the components hide or look pretty might take more skills.

I did mine myself........twice..........it took me a full day working straight through to do it by myself. I'm pretty mechanically inclined but like ted said if you follow the instructions and take your time its a piece of cake, just time consuming.

If you've installed springs etc. before you should be able to DIY a "bolt on" air suspension. The wiring and hose routing is a little time consuming, but not super complicated.
