well to be honest, i'm more towards the smaller size of body build. 5'9" tall and about 130-135lbs and if it ever came to parking on the side of the road for a nap, i'd take the rear seat.

i'll have to take the idea to the shop.

i was thinking about making the b-pillar part a 2 piece just in case. i just got to thinking about the passenger... so i was thinking of intagrading the cage idea that Firmware did with that bar harness idea in that image and make it so that it's a bolt add-on harness piece. i can keep the stock seatbelts attatched just for those times you would want to take the harness off for traveling. or see about using the cage piece it's self and have the harness go up to the bar near the roofing... it would look... slightly wierd but hey, it's an idea...

Hey! This is a attached to the b-pillar, but it's main purpose is a harness bar to use with race seats.

The bar in the picture was made by Mike (M2-Motoring) on these forums. It is a custom piece and looks like a work of art. He made one for me and I just received it a couple of weeks ago. I believe he had one more in stock, but look him up on here to get more information.

Hi thanks for redirecting me here JD. the bar is made of chromoly and uses all TIG welding and grade 8 hardware. It really is a quality piece if you are interested, please let me know. =)

but that also causes major issues for the front seat people in the event of a crash. you want the belts perpendicularto your shoulders.
