Default No Sensatracks for me

I was considering getting them because so many said it was better than stock.
But after driving around this morning I couldn't see any damping problem.
The short wheel base does make for a little chop on uneven pavement, but really the front and back feel equal to me. and I don't see any problem with smoothness of ride.
I think if it ain't broke I ain't fixin' it.

Is it possible that there may be 2 different OEM suppliers of the shocks and that one kind might be stiffer than another?

If you like the ride with the OEM rear KYB shocks, no point spending $75 and 30 minutes of time to put on SensaTracs. They might be too soft for you.

When I first got my box, I thought "whoa! stiff ride!" but nearly a year later I'm pretty well used to it. I still give the Sensatrac's a thought now and again, but it doesn't bother me at all any more.

If it's not bugging you, don't bother. Or if it's not bothering you, don't bug.

what do you all keep your tire pressure at?
I keep mine at 29 psi, that will make for a smoother ride if others are keeping a higher pressure.

unless you lower it i would just keep the stock shocks, when you sit lower the shorter shocks help you to stay in their "comfort zone"

Sometimes, I think my box rides like a lumber wagon, other times it seems OK- basic sport suspension, stiffer rather than softer... I think it has more to do with the particular road surface and the mood of my butt dyno than anything else...

I'm leaving mine alone- but I'll remember the sensatracs when it's time for replacement...

I put 30 psi in last Fall, found 29 psi still there yesterday, decided to try 34 psi to see if it helped the mileage. Suddenly the ride is noticeably harsher. Over the same familiar stretches of streets that I drive every day, I now feel roughness in the surface, little cracks and strips, and bumps, that were not there before.

I got new wheels 3 days after I bought my car, and the tire shop filled them up to 35psi. I've kept them there for the last two months, so I don't know any different. There is one street locally that I only go down if I have to take my daughter to school that is fairly choppy, but otherwise, I don't really see the suspension as being too harsh. And I'm running NF210's too.

I run at 36psi. Er, I think I do... it's been a while since I've checked my tire pressure...

I was just like you before I finally broke down and made the investment. I kept talking myself out of doing it. I would think "there is no way shocks could make that much difference". I'm telling you that they do make a huge difference. The longer you wait the longer you suffer needlessly. It is night and day literally. All the others that have testified at the new ride quality has to tell ya something. Bite the bullit and invest in prolly the second best suspension mod you can do (next to the rear sway bar). Period!!!!
