Nice set up! I'm thinking of doing the same with my box. The echo struts lower the front an additional 1/2 inch due to lower spring perches right? So what was the total drop in the front? And do you have any issues with scraping on driveways or anything?
yah an extra 1/2 drop. the springs havent settled yet but it looks to be around 2 1/4" in the front. i do have to be carefull and the start of very steep inclines but ive checked most speed bumps and my driveway ( my drivewat it bad going from the road to the driveway has a large lip ) and i find i still have about 3/4" space to clear them. if i was to back out of my driveway to fast it WOULD bounce and scrame the front im sure, although i have not tried
. to give you a better idea... the lowest part of my front bumper (the right or left side, not the center) is 5 1/4 off the ground.
overall i am VERY happy with everything. the ride feel is 10x better all the way around. the install was very easy, the only thing i will tell you to be shure of is when you are doing the struts make sure you get the top perch, the rubber and the top of the spring lined up right. i took me an extra minet to fine tune the position befor letting go of the spring. the is very impotaint and im sure you would have problems if you got it wrong. im making it sound like a bigger deal then it is, it easy man you'll see.
