A key concept is Vibrant Clarity -- a design ethos grounding all design work in a unique and emotionally vibrant identity that speaks clearly of Toyota. Offering sustainable mobility for modern families, the environmentally advanced technology is another step closer to Toyota's vision of a zero smog-forming emission future.

Yea, I never understood how completely glass roofs are practical. It's not like you're going to make a shade big enough to cover the entire area... so I imagine it'd get pretty friggin hot in there during the summer months.

And besides, "family mobility"? Please, this is the same country where people "NEED" 6,000 lb SUVs for their "kids and stuff"... while somehow, billions of people in the rest of the world get along without the SUV

needs to come from the factory with 5% tint on top.

...or at least 25%

actually... depends on your driving style

i have my a/c on 85% of the time i drive, but since i drive like a granny with an egg under my foot with italian suede floor mats, i always pull off 320+ miles with my tC

I bet it has transition glass or something, so the glass can darken and lighten depending on the outside condtions

Uhm, yeah, if you think Toyota is actually going to build that, then don't get on this bus, your short one will be up next.

lol.

key word is concept. its a nice concept, execpt for the fact that there is a sun and people like robbing you. and man, how much would it cost to replace that roof if something happened! and there is almost no paint on that car....

No paint means no paint chips

Oh, and the Tundra concept had a glass roof as well, but somehow that didn't make it to production......

yea it definitely looks like a new prius model. Its crazy lookin, but i sincerely hope the glass roof doesn't make it in. I live in 105+ temps in summer and i can't imagine how hot that car would get

I like this concept better than the current prius. I think the Prius is BUTT ugly, though it is original. You know a Prius when you see one. My next car will definitely be a hybrid... If there was a hybrid with the space and mileage of the xB I'd be down...

The glass is a little iffy too = / I dig it, but yeah, dark tint =)

The number one thing I hate about my TC is my glass roof. Much rather have a small sunroof, or none at all. Keep the weight down below 2800 and would vastly improve the handling.

The tC's glass roof is the reason I went with my Celie instead. Frustrates me sometimes, my Celie was way more expensive. Glass roof is nice if ya lived in a wooded area and there was little traffic. Otherwise tho who wants to be hot and everyone stare'n at ya all the time. Ever notice that? Ya can see people in their sun roofed cars a mile away cause they're all lit up. Anyways tho, nice concept.
