TRD springs with TRD wheels 225/40/18" tire
I would like to lower my car some. Anyone running that combo and have pics? My front tires rub a little on full turn (on the inside rear of tire). These tires were dealer installed too, not sure why they used that size. Will this setup be ok? I dont want the rubbing to get any worse. Wouldnt mind going even a little lower like 1.5". Any input is appreciated.

You are only rubbing slightly, no biggie. The tires are slightly taller than the sugested 215/35s hense the rub.
Why the heck did they go so big? They could have done 205/40/18 but they went big on both numbers.
Just check and see what it's rubbing on during full lock. It might be a trim this piece a little and no more rub fix. Just check on flat concrete without jacking it up..
If you want to go 1.5 drop get some Hotchkiss springs. Check my profile to see what they look like with 18 inch TRDs.
If it's really new take it back and have them put the right size tires on. They kinda F'up bigtime with that size!!!!
