Hotchkis Performance has graciously donated to the site a set of lowering springs for the Scion xa/xB. BUT - they have a little problem. They want to make sure that they go to a worthy recipient. So, these springs will be shipped out to the Scion Life member that can best explain why they deserve to recieve them. The winner will win the springs, free shipping, a set of Scion Life stickers.

because i have one of the few scions in my area and the people that do have them are old and are not gonna be customizing so i figure that there should be at least one

 

The reason why i think i should win a set of springs are the following.

I am a dedicated scion life member who is setting off to a rough start. I have just moved out on my own and i am in great need of funds. I know that i really dont need these awsome springs but it would help me feel better about myself and as alot of people say the Lower the cooler. So if i do get some lowering springs i will be able to get ladies to like me which equals Girlfriends which would help me out alot. I hope you understand where i am comming from when you read this essay. Also Hot Chicks are great. I have your sawy bar and your strut bar, and i must say they are great products. I'm not going to kiss anyone's a$$ and say how great scion and hotchkis are. Hotchkis knows how good they are.
I have no money.
Had my xB for almost a year and nothing has been done to it.
I have a set of 19s sitting in the garage waiting to be installed.
I want to lower the car before installing the wheels.
My car looks stock because it is

 

Because I want to prove to you all that Hotchkis springs and their suspension products are superior to other brand named companies.

 

Because i'm an old man and I want to fit in with the young crowd, and lowering my car would be a good start.....

1. i have hotchkis anti-sway bars and need springs to match
2. i drive twisties to i need quality parts
3. college kid with no money
4. 16.0 sec xB (one of the fastest maybe?)
5. i have 19x8 and the car needs to be lower
6. so i can get more free stickers

9. i don't have scionlife stickers yet
10. because there's only one modified scion in Cal Poly other than me

i don't need em but i would most surely like them. i got some rs type adjustable lowering coilovers and they are garbage a complete waste of my money bad ride bad look all that crap. i'm a college student who just lost his job so i am low on funds expecially since i have this huge car payment now. but basically i work hard and i love cars more than any other material thing on this earth , all i need for my scion is suspension rims and a body kit , no use in a body kit or rims with a whole bunch of ugly wheel gap. if i get these springs i will be supremely happy i will be overjoyed. thanx for the oppurtunity to try and win this beauty of a set.

 

Because I have to pay for another set of rims since mine got all bent during the hurricane so i won't b e able to afford lowering springs like i was planing.

 

1. I am one of the founding members of Scinergyia, yet my xB has only dress up options available through the dealership. Lowering my xB would help me represent the club better.

2. I live in the midwest where Scion is just getting started, in fact in Cedar Rapids IA I'm lucky if I see 1 other scion a week so a good looking car would help promote the brand driving sales of quality aftermarket parts

3. I want to do more modifications to my car, yet because I have 2 kids and my job is doesn't pay very well, My budget is very small. These springs would move the car to the next level

4. These springs would move me 1 step closer to competing in local and state wide car shows. I would represent both Scion and Hotchkiss very well!

5. My car is a daily driver so by putting the Hotchkiss name on it, and Hotchkiss parts on it I would advertise daily for the company.

6. I am an active member on Scion Life, I give advice when I can, and refuse to post negative comments when others post questions that may have already been posted.

7. I am a member of an active Scion Club partnered with an excellent dealership who's main goal is to have fun and get the Scion name out there.

8. I am an honest person who tries to do whats right in every situation.

9. When I am pleased with a product and company I tell everybody.

10. Iowa needs more modified scions and I need your help to promote that!

i dont know much about your shocks but,your strut bar is hot i was planning on getting the sway bars . the write up on them are nothing but good . So to have the 3rd piece to the pie would be nice . I havent heard anything about the springs and it would be a great chance to review them. i have the hot lava (rs1.0 xb) with vinyl graphics and wish to lower the vehicle and take the hubcaps off and be the only one lowered on steel rims in the area . good luck to all.
