Default TRD springs –What size rims & tires are you running?

We are putting TRD springs & Hotchkis sway bars on my xB

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4399

Quick question. For those of you that have the TRD’s on already, can you give me a run down on your rim & tire size and weather or not you get tire rub.

Thanks! Hope to see ya @ the mini meet…

Im on TRDs with 17s with 45....fills the wheel wells better....and they ride better than 18's

Slight rub just slight of steering lock...only when pulling into parking spaces and such....only on a small section of the plastic well liner....i have just been too lazy to heat it up and push it back.

stylis, the part that rubs is a tiny area less than the size of a dime...it is just a little hump in the plastic that could be heated and pushed back.

Put on 215/45/17 and no rub. Yea Ha... The springs went on Sat, so I have a funny feeling that they will need to settle in. So let's see how we are doing in a couple of weeks.

Thnaks for the info ArinVolvo

Default the faster modder in the bay!

- again, i've been called worse -

All of the mods that I planed out are done. The exhaust mod was Gabe's and Ad-Roc's brother’s fault. They gave me muffler envy... (Ad-roc what was your brothers name again? It has left me. Oh, if he is interested in my hubs till he gets his rims, he is welcome to them. He mentioned that he scratched his up. Better out on the street than in the attic.)

But I am glad they did. The Gabe-ster exhaust set up rocks. Great addition to the box. He even made a mod to the system for me. But the bigger muffler on so my stereo will not have to compete.

Stereo is the next (and last for a while) mod. Waiting for the Dynamat to come in and then I rip out the interior. Please pray for my Xb

Hope to see you guys Friday night at Starbucks or Sunday up in the city.
