Kumho vs. Yokohama
Which one should I get? Or is there a better tire for the money? I live in Southern California so no need for all-season tires.

I have 195/50/15 AST's which are similar. Great tire, but depends on what you want to get out of it... it has a fair amount of sidewall flex so not the best for hard cornering. However, it rides amazingly well, is fairly quiet, has great traction and a hot tread pattern. Overall a great affordable all-season tire... I don't think Yokohama has anything that can touch it for the money.
pirelli pzero nero m+s. have them with the TRD wheel package. they grip like a mother. a bit pricier, but you get what you pay for.
BFGoodrich g-force Sports also have great performance.
Dunlop Direzzas might be good as well.

I am on my second set of Kumho's. I got good even wear on the first set so bought another. Got my first set with wheels from www.treadepot.com and the second set from Sears who will match any retailers price.

Cooper! Love my ZX2's, but if I would have to choose between Kumho or Yoko, I'd go Kumho without thinking twice about it. Have had nothing but bad experiences with Yoko's.
