Default Goldline question

I searched around and found a lot of relevant info., but i did not see the answer to this question....probably because it is stupid...

anyway......when installing the rear goldline springs on an xB, do the more compressed coils (the ones that are closer together) go towards the top or bottom? does it even matter?

thanks in advance

The writing on the springs should be right side up... I'm pretty sure the dead coils are up top on the goldlines.
