what setup did you use because for $3200 you got ripped, it doesnt even sit that low

 

Air shocks in the front, bags in the back.

Had to get different ones for the front because the first ones were too big and there was a damage risk.

About $1700 just for parts, $1500 for labor.

And it doesn't sit very low because the wheels are 18" so there is not much room to drop it.

They did a really nice job.

 

It looks good, but i had the same drop with my Tanabe springs, i'm bagged on 18's and i'm 3 inches lower and it only cost 1200. nice job just not nearly low enough for my taste, especially for 3200

Why do people have to be so harsh to other peoples mods on here. I see this all the time here on Scion Life. I just don't get it. You know some people may not have the tools or knowledge or space to do it themselves and thats why they pay someone to do it for them. I see one poster on here says they did their bags for $1200 and I'm making an assumption that they did the set up themselves. If the original poster is happy with the outcome thats all that should matter.

I agree, let the guy get it done PROFESSIONALY he has the peace of mind of not having to worry about it and if something DOES go wrong he can have proof that either it was the bags or the install and both will be covered.

Yes you could get the same thing for 1,500 (1,200 you get what you pay for) But you install it yourself and take the risk

How can you categorically state that??? Maybe he had it installed. Maybe he got a high tech computerized control system like the Air Ride Level pro that I run. Maybe he got ripped off, but then again maybe not. I agree that his full down picture does not look that low.

I spent nearly $4,000 on my air system components and hardware. I installed it all myself. Mine sits like this:
Did I get ripped off??...you may think so....but I love my system and I think not!

Modify the front bumper to fender mounting. Remove that plastic clip thing and replace the attachment with some screws thru the bumper to fender flanges (ideal to use some screw plates for better holding power). Cut away the humpy part of the plastic fender liner that was around the plastic thing. Install a few shims between the lower outer fender mounting bolts and the radiator support structure to spread the fenders out just slightly. If you do this you will be able to drop it down over the 18's for a much lower look. This is how I cleared my 18's. (I was wondering if the down picture above was perhaps not all the way down)
