for all you with the easystreet rear setup

do i have to cut the rear spring perches for security? or is it only so i can drop it more? Anyone know? thank you very much

I don't believe you have to cut anything for it now. On the 1st gen kit you had to shave about 1/4 inch off the inside of the perch. But its still completely functional for springs.

you have to cut off just the very end of the perch to slide the upper bag bracket in place, if not it wont fit

ok ok. if i turn back to springs am i like screwed? or will they still fit?

they would still fit, its only about a 1/4 that you cut off, i wouldnt worry about it

I've put springs back in my rear a couple times since shaving the perch edge and never had a problem.
