I am looking to further imporve the handling on my xB. So far I have installed progress tech springs, rear sway bar, poly bushing on the front sway bar and have 17X7 wheels with khumo 205/45/17 tires. I have about 150 to spend and was wondering what would be a better mod to help me take clover leafs and corners at higher speeds. I have read reviews on both, I am just looking for opions on which would be the best for the buck.

I lowered my car at the same time I installed the strut tower bar. I am not sure which improved the handling--but I feel better going around turns and corners now.

 

Subframe to Unibody Brace (the 4-bolt one)

 

Underbody brace, really helps to connect your drivetrain to the chassis.

 

Strut tower braces don't really do anything for the xB.

 

chassis is better but both is better than just one or the other

 

The Tower Strut Bar by itself is just for looks, so the brace would probably do more for steering response. But when combined together, the strut bar really shines.
