Questions about the Maxxim 4play.
Hello, I have finally decided which rims I would like to put on my RS3 and I have decided on the 4plays. Yes, I realize that they are copies of the work equips, but I'm in high school and getting about 100 bucks every two weeks at my minimum wage job. D: Cash is tight, but these wheels are worth it. I just have some questions about them... I know the bolt pattern will fit but what does 15x7 mean to me and what does the 38 offset mean? I know the 15x7 is the size, and stock tires are 15, so does that mean I can slap my regular tires onto these rims? What does the offset mean as far as putting them on? Any problems (such as rubbing, etc)? Unfortunately I don't have my box lowered yet, so it's pretty much all stock. Can I just slap on the tires and bolt them onto my car or what? Do I need hubcentric rings? Lugs?
Also, any suggestions for places to buy the rims (and everything else I may need)?
I'm sorry, very new to this... I want to make sure I have everything I need and know everything I can before buying these. I'm not exactly sure how these will look on the rs3, but I think they will look good.
Thank you for your help.

Here's the best info I can give you with my knowledge. 15x7 means 15" diameter and 7" width. Our stock sizing is 15x6. Offset means how far off center the lug nuts are from the center of the wheels. So +38 means they are 38mm towards the outside of the wheel. You can slap on the stock tires, people are putting them on 8" width wheels so you will be fine. You shouldn't have any problems with rubbing. You might need hubcentric rings I'm not sure though. Lugs, you can go for some gorillias or mutekis since you are on a budget. Hope this helps.
Hubcentric rings keep the rims centered on the hub. Ring are usually used in the front since we have drums in the rear. They will keep the wheels from vibrating at speed. If you check out here:

It shows our center bore and a lot of other info. Center bore what you will be concerned about with the rings. I would contact the dealer or even Konig for info on what the bore of the rims are.
Oh yeah, make sure you get your wheels balanced when you put your tires on if they aren't already when you buy them.
